Islay is the founder and CEO of Enness Global, a renowned and respected debt finance broker headquartered in London with offices in France, Dubai, Jersey, and Switzerland. 

Enness handles £15bn in new enquiries a year from global HNW and entrepreneurial clients. Trusted by global private banks, international law firms and other private client advisers. The 40-person team sources and executes creative finance solutions for its clients with precision, discretion, and pace. 

In 2021, Islay co-founded Tenn Capital, a Guernsey-based principal lender. Tenn offers short-term real estate finance secured against international prime real estate. The business is backed by Bank, Private Credit, and Government funding lines exceeding £600m. Tenn has lent in over 17 countries, has an average individual loan amount of £5m, and has a seasoned team of finance specialists.

Identifying the growing need for International short-term real estate finance, intensified by the vacuum created by ever-increasing regulated and cautious bank financial Islay, launched Global Bridging Finance – a broker and originator for Global short-term bridge financing.

Islay is also an active private lender, offering bespoke services for quality borrowers, many of whom he knows personally. Typically, this solves funding gaps in transactions where logic dictates someone should lend, but there is no market. Unsecured, documentation-controlled, or using a mixture of guarantees, debentures, undertakings, and physical security to create individual loans, Islay co-funds these transactions with a wide pool of private individuals and businesses.
